Rafal Gierula is a licensed acupuncturist and qualified professional practitioner of Chinese herbal medicine who sensitively guides his patients on a path towards greater health and well-being.
He is passionate about using Traditional Chinese Medicine to help people return to balance, restore their health and reconnect to the well-spring of their own natural health and vitality.
APPROACH
Rafal’s holistic approach emphasises simplicity, beauty and the interconnectedness between ourselves and nature. Each treatment is tailored to a patient’s individual needs and is aimed at remedying the root cause of the condition as well as its symptoms. This approach ensures that the patient’s problem is resolved, but also aims to enhance overall health, resilience and well-being.
SPECIALISMS
Rafal specialises in managing complex medical issues including autoimmune and dermatology problems, psycho-emotional imbalances such as depression, anxiety, stress and insomnia, and is experienced at treating infertility in both men and women.
QUALIFICATIONS
Rafal qualified as an acupuncturist with the College of Integrated Chinese Medicine, with a corresponding Bachelor of Science degree from Kingston University. He has also completed a 2-year PGDip in Chinese Herbal Medicine at the Northern College of Acupuncture in York, during which he studied with renowned female infertility practitioner and author Celine Leonard.
AFFILIATIONS
Rafal is a member of the British Acupuncture Council (BAC) and is therefore bound by strict Codes of Practice. These codes ensure that patients receive the highest standards of professional care during their acupuncture treatment.
Rafal is a licensed member of the Register of Chinese Herbal Medicine (RCHM), the only UK organisation to focus on the herbal element of Traditional Chinese Medicine. The RCHM works to uphold standards of excellence in Chinese herbal medicine and its allied practices in the UK.

Due to the special nature of prosthetic treatment, a £100 deposit payable before the next visit may be introduced in the cases specified by the dentist. | Abdominal cavity ultrasound preparation: | |
| Light diet day before, recommended to do the scan 6 hours after eating, eat a little on the day of the test, drink a lot. Abstain from emptying bladder for 1-2 hours before the planned examination. The patient should make sure their bowels are empty before the scan. | |
