Dr Magdalena Skoczylas
Dr Magdalena Skoczylas graduated from the Pomeranian Medical University at the Faculty of Medicine in 1993 in Szczecin.
After completing her postgraduate internship at the Clinical Hospital in Szczecin, she began specializing in Family Medicine and obtained a specialist diploma in this field in 2000.
Since then, she has practiced her profession both in Poland and in Great Britain.
In the years 2000-2005, and then 2008-2015, she was a family doctor in the Clinics of Family Physicians in Szczecin and in Police in Poland. In the meantime, she worked at the Chiswick Family Practice in London and since 2019 she continues to practice as a General Practitioner in one of the NHS Family Practitioners' Practice in Derbysire, providing advice to both children and adults.
Dr. Skoczylas is particularly interested in diabetology, therefore undertook a one-year course in type 2 diabetes at the University of Warwick, obtaining a Diploma in 2019.
During the last two years, Dr. Skoczylas has been using steroid injections into the shoulder and knee joints.

| Light diet day before, recommended to do the scan 6 hours after eating, eat a little on the day of the test, drink a lot. Abstain from emptying bladder for 1-2 hours before the planned examination. The patient should make sure their bowels are empty before the scan. | |
