Dr Joanna Zak
Dr Zak is a specialist in Orthopaedics and Traumatology with 20 years’ experience. She graduated from the Medical University of Bialystok in 1994. She has a first degree specialization in General Surgery and second degree specialization in Orthopaedics and Traumatology obtained respectively in 1999 and 2005. From 1996 to 2000 she worked as a surgeon and orthopaedist at the Health Care Centre in Nidzica, then from 2000 to 2004 at an Orthopaedics and Trauma Ward of the Municipal Hospital in Olsztyn, from 2006 to 2010 at the Paediatric Orthopaedics Ward of the Regional Specialized Children’s Hospital in Olsztyn, as well as in an outpatient clinic specializing in ultrasound diagnostics and treatment of hip joint dysplasia in infants.
Currently she is involved in ambulatory treatment of orthopaedic patients, children and adults, in Warsaw and Olsztyn. Dr Zak has extensive experience in the treatment of both surgical patients and patients with locomotor organ disorders (i.e. orthopaedic disorders) at every age.

| Light diet day before, recommended to do the scan 6 hours after eating, eat a little on the day of the test, drink a lot. Abstain from emptying bladder for 1-2 hours before the planned examination. The patient should make sure their bowels are empty before the scan. | |
